We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Staff Action Officer to support our Army Intelligence customer. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a thorough understanding of military operations, and the ability to coordinate and facilitate staff actions effectively. The Operations Staff Action Officer will play a critical role in streamlining operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless communication within our office. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinate and manage staff actions, including taskings, requests for information (RFIs), memorandums, and briefings, to support the operational needs of the Army Intelligence office.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming taskings and administrative inquiries, and ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, and briefing materials on behalf of the office leadership, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulations.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and briefings, including logistical arrangements, agenda development, and distribution of materials.

  • Monitor and track action items, deadlines, and suspense dates associated with staff actions, and provide regular updates to leadership on status and progress.

  • Liaise with other offices, units, and organizations within the intelligence community to facilitate collaboration and information sharing on operational matters.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of office policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by office leadership to support the overall mission and objectives of the Army Intelligence office.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a military or government environment.

  • Knowledge of military operations, procedures, and protocols, with a background in Army Intelligence operations preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant applications.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

  • Some travel may be required

  • Must have an in-scope security clearance
