Zantech is looking for a Helpdesk Specialist to support the Army clients.

The qualified candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and experience to function as a helpdesk support service specialist to provide remote end user support for client applications. The candidate will handle phone calls, input caller information into trouble ticket system and ensure all information is correct both about the user and their issue, continuously manage the queue of trouble tickets in the system, escalate application issues to tier 2 and tier 3 support, document and communicate status of calls to management and the end user community via the help desk software. Candidate must have great customer service skills, be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical users, collaborate with other departments or offices as necessary to expedite resolutions and promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented image among clients.

Describe number of years and type of experience required to perform the job; essential knowledge/skills/abilities:

  • AA Degree in Computer Science/Engineering highly desired

  • Shall be able to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to adapt to change as required

  • Experience providing technical support as part of a corporate or government IT department

  • Must be US Citizen AND have an Active Secret clearance


  • 3+ years or more customer service experience

  • Ability to prioritize & meet multiple customer requirements to complete systems support tasks on time.

  • Ability to organize and coordinate simple to moderately complex projects.

  • Ticket management system experience

  • Security+ A+ Net+ IA Level I or IA Level II training
