Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the IT industry? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for an experienced business development manager to support our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate (ISVA) program in providing co-sell support and benefits to help ISVs drive new business and accelerate co-sell with AWS. The Co-Sell Program Business Development Manager leads partners’ journey through the ISVA program, from onboarding and activation to guiding partners’ co-sell acceleration, as well as program enablement, compliance, and reporting.

In this role, you will design and build scalable mechanisms to simplify and enhance partner experience with ISVA, activate partners in the program, and accelerate partners’ co-sell journey. This role will work cross-functionally with multiple teams around the world including directly with APN Partners, Partner Management, Business Intelligence, APN Programs, and AWS Sales leadership, to programmatically support and enable AWS’s most strategic co-sell partners. The successful candidate will have experience working in or with partner or alliance teams, an understanding of sales/co-selling, and experience building programmatic mechanisms to support stakeholders at scale. They will also demonstrate an ability to earn trust with multiple internal and external stakeholders, strong ownership, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Own the partner journey through the program, from onboarding and activation to developing innovative strategies to drive partners’ co-sell acceleration at scale

• Drive program automation, working cross-organizationally with tech and non-tech teams, that simplifies and enhances the partner experience and increases overall team efficiency

• Develop, audit, and improve processes and mechanisms to support partner (and where applicable, AWS partner management) onboarding, enablement/support, compliance, offboarding, and reporting

• Work directly with external customers (e.g. APN ISV Partners)

• Build and maintain successful partnerships with global teams, segment stakeholders and key business sponsors across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC

• Design and track business metrics and perform business analysis to measure impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and adoption to be reported to leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience working in or with partner or alliance teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Understanding of sales/co-selling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
