Job Summary

Alluvionic is seeking a Contract Specialist I to assist the U.S Marshals Service's (USMS's) Asset Forfeiture Division with various contract types of Government contracts. This position will liaise with Federal Employee, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.

Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.

Must be able to pass a background Investigation (BI) for a clearance of Public Trust.

This is an on-site position.

Salary Range: $75-80k yearly

The Contract Specialist I performs, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct contract reviews, assist in cradle-to-grave operations, call order modifications, and close-outs

  • Will be required to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)

  • Assist Government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions

  • Review solicitation packages for completeness

  • Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation package

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credits

  • Recent Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist Experience is required

  • Contract Close-Out experience is required

  • At least four (4) years of related working experience demonstrating that the candidate meets the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities

  • Must possess advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15)

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II
