Concur Specialist Washington, D.C.

My client is a fast-growing Professional Services Firm located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a need for a Concur Specialist to join their Accounts Payable Team. The Concur Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will be a highly visible position within the Finance and Accounting Department responsible for Concur system processing including training employees on the expense reporting process. The Concur Specialist must be proficient in the Concur system and have experience in processing high-volume vendor invoices. The Concur Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:

-Process employee expense reports in Concur

-Assisting with processing full cycle accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner

-Matching, batching, and coding of high-volume vendor invoices

-Process 1099s, and distributing to subcontracts

-Reconcile credit card transactions, including posting GL entries

-Assist in monthly financial reporting, month-end close

-Reconcile and prepare accruals

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

-2 + year experience processing accounts payable invoices

-Proficient in Concur

-Great Plains experience is a plus

-Excellent communication skills

-Strong Accounting knowledge

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or related field

• Proficient in expense reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Knowledge and experience in Concur Expense

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment effectively

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
