Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Along with the Director of Patient Experience and Associate Vice President of Business Operations - VHCPG, the Assistant Director of Patient Experience - VHCPG oversees the development and implementation of patient experience best practices within the VHC Health Physicians group, aligning with VHC Health’s mission, vision, and anchors. Collects and measures patient experience data to identify areas for improvement. Utilizes patient experience best practices to develop and implement education related to patient experience for clinical and non-clinical staff and providers within the VHCPG. Works with VHC Health Physicians leadership to manage patient complaints and service recovery.

Education:

Bachelors degree preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of customer and/or patient experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably outpatient.

Experience with teaching and/or coaching large and small groups.

Knowledge of the Studer Group/Huron Group Principles of Patient Engagement preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

CPXP (Certified Patient Experience Professional) preferred or willing to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
