Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

Education

  • Associate's Degree healthcare related field, accounting, computer science is required

Experience

  • 1 Year Relevant analytics experience in BI/EDW or IT development, Healthcare, Consulting, Finance, Analytics or a closely related field with significant hands-on job experience using modern BI visualization software, data preparation tools and/or SQL development to support decision making. is required and

  • 3 Years healthcare revenue cycle - PB is preferred and

  • 3 Years relevant Epic PB experience is preferred

  • 1 year of SQL experience is strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Other Epic clarity certification Upon Hire is preferred

  • Other Epic PB Resolute/Prelude/Revenue Cycle certification Upon Hire is preferred

  • Other SQL certification Upon Hire is preferred

What You Will Do

  • Deep knowledge of Professional Billing [PB] revenue cycle, cash performance that includes performance to budget, aged AR trends, denial trends related to front and back end, cash variances, and payer trends.

  • Collaborate with PBO revenue cycle stakeholders [PBO management, RI, etc.] in creating and maintaining PB reporting/analytical solutions including conducting quality checks and reporting validations, prior to automating SQL output.

  • Analyze and develop appropriate technological solutions for reporting, including but not limited to custom SQL writing to measure revenue cycle metrics, building Tableau visualizations and maintaining up-to-date data dictionaries for reference.

  • Responsible for monitoring ETL loads, dashboard refresh schedules in Tableau and taking necessary steps to resolve errors and mismatches between individual data tables, closely monitoring Tableau transaction loads, validating dashboard information, SQL query output, and creating new dashboards in Tableau based on operational needs.

  • Communicate with THR Analytics and BI regarding opportunities for database optimizations, in order to support ETL from Clarity, and provide necessary solutions and insights.

  • Serve as the point of contact in communications for delays regarding dashboard refresh and reporting inaccuracies resulting from delays.

  • Serve as the point person for all PB revenue cycle reporting needs from Tableau, Clarity and Chronicles that may incur.
