  • Work hours: Part-time, Days, 24 hours weekly, (3) 8 hour shifts, 10a-6:30p, no call

Here's What You'll Need

· High School Diploma is required.

· One (1) year of Anesthesia Tech experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

· CAT - Certified Anesthesia Tech is required upon hire.

· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

Skills for Success Include

You’ll be organized and have good communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and multi-task; work independently, and have basic computer/technical knowledge.

We are a 47-bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27 bed cardiac telemetry unit. Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission. We have achieved AHA’s Gold Plus award for three years in a row, AHA’s Gold Plus award for Heart Failure and Beacon Award Silver level through AACN. We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, thoracotomies, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, TAVR, post heart catheterization including angioplasty, stenting and electrophysiology studies.
