A stable company, is now looking for a Sales Consultant for the Greater Chicagoland market. We are seeking a confident, outgoing Sales Consultant who is self-disciplined and enjoys a challenge. We provide independence and an exciting, fast paced, and fun work environment. We look for you to provide a competitive drive, outgoing nature, and the will to be the best Sales Consultant in the industry.

A Sales Consultant at company is responsible for presenting the company Promise for a completely satisfying turn-key installation of replacement windows to homeowners. Achieving individual sales goals by presenting a compelling case for customers to choose Pella. Understanding customer wants and needs is critical and the ability to translate our product offerings to match will help you be successful in this role. Striving for a first-time close and planning for and delivering effective follow up on the rest. Proactively seeking out new referrals through customer relationship networking will help you be successful in this role. Continually striving for a 100% “Very Satisfied” customer experience every time is a part of the company Promise.

-Deliver a detailed sales presentation.

-Prepare and present a price quote before leaving each appointment.

-Follow up and respond to all customer questions within 24 hours.

-Be available for customer appointments during evenings and Saturdays, in addition to weekday hours.

-Reach out to sales leads and schedule in home appointments. Will travel to customers home to discuss product/service.

-Close on first sales call

-Leads will come from Pella but 30-40% of leads would be self generated by networking, referrals, trade shows, home and garden shows

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

-1-2 years of sales experience (Retail sales, corporate sales, outside sales, inside sales) OR Bachelors Degree with 0 experience

-Reliable transportation for driving to client locations

-Sales skills/Willingness to learn how to sell services and products

Nice Haves:

-Previous sales experience

-College Athlete

-Sales internship experience
