The Senior Operations Manager (OM) is responsible to the President for managing and providing daily supervision and leadership of all company programs, projects, and program managers. The Senior Operations Manager will provide management oversight of assigned operations and will support other BD efforts at large.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of assigned Programs and Program Managers and staff that mirror the adopted mission and core values of the company.

  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports and deliverables.

  • Oversee and manage project staff teams and subcontractors.

  • Directly communicate and interact with Customers

  • Assist in the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

  • Motivate and lead a high performing team that attracts recruits and retains a highly qualified staff.

  • Foster an ethical, success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

  • Represent the company with assigned customers and business partners.

  • Must execute programs within scope, cost, and schedule.

  • Provide pre-award pricing and requirement development support to President during the bid process.

  • Work with Government customers to understand requirements and provide pricing support in coordination with Chenega Service Center.

  • Provide hiring and employee and contract transition support to the President and Director of Operations for newly awarded contracts, work directives and task orders.

  • Support business development efforts at large.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years relevant experience, managing government requirements.

  • Experience to include:

  • 10+ years Government or Government contracting experience required

  • 10+ years experience in facility design , construction and facility management on U.S. Federal Government Facilities

  • PMP Preferred

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

  • Must be able to travel OCONUS and CONUS up to 25% of the time.

  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and present well to customers.

  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to multi-task in a high stress, performance-based environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Outlook.

  • Must have a strong sense of ethics and accountability.
