Eaton Corporation Fabrication - Machine Operator - Weekend Shift in Arden, North Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fabrication - Machine Operator - Weekend Shift.

Shift Hours: 7am-7:30pm Friday - Sunday.

The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Fabrication Operator is responsible to process and bend raw material through the Fabrication

Department. Performing initial set-up for machine operation.

In this function you will:

• Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts

• Interpret work orders including; written, oral, Kanban cards, and drawings

• Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation

• Inspect final component against work specifications

• Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment

• Provide on-the-job training for new operators

• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC in order to be

considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical

area limitation.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship,

now or in the future.

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Preferred qualifications:

• Machining Certificate.

• Previous experience in Fabrication.

Position Criteria:

• Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead.

• Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures.

• Able to read blue prints.

• Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance.

• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.

• Able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
