Dairy and Livestock Program CoordinatorThis position can work remote/virtual.This position will support Truterra and Program Development by designing and developing projects and programs that reduce enteric and manure emissions within dairy management systems. This position develops and documents program details and requirements, including aligned tech platform and operational requirements, as Truterra scales certain successful project efforts to commercially launched programs. This will also support the evaluation of viability and business use cases of pilot scale projects and program execution in partnership with multi-functional teams.To be successful in this role, the Dairy & Livestock Program Lead must be adaptive and creative while working within the evolving framework of the voluntary carbon market and emerging insetting markets. This position must work alongside, collaborate extensively, and manage relationships with stakeholders within Truterra (e.g. Field Operations team, IT team), but also across the broader Land O'Lakes enterprise, downstream customers, and co-ops and farmers. It requires someone who can understand big picture strategy and simultaneously manage a complex process with rigor and attention to detail. This role is responsible for helping Truterra develop scalable programs that deliver both business value and credible environmental outcomes to our dairy farmers, co-ops, and downstream value chain customers.As a rapidly growing business, Truterra is seeking individuals that are genuine, supportive team-players, hungry to collaborate cross-functionally to build better solutions to hard problems and have a meaningful impact in dairy.Responsibilities include:Develop, execute, and evaluate projects and programs that reduce enteric and manure emissions in dairy management systems - program elements include eligibility criteria, target geographies, contract management, supply planning, and timeline.Collaborate with IT colleagues to build out requirements for tech platform to support pilot project and commercial scale programsAlign tech platform capabilities with operational needsOversee cradle-to-grave delivery of projects and programs, and provide guidance to a high-performing multifunctional team to execute implementation activities across a program life cycleCollaborate with Standards & Methodologies Manager on project and program protocols, approaches to quantifying enteric and manure emissions, and validation/verification.Collaborate with marketing colleagues to determine financials and pricing models for projects and programsFacilitate co-op and farmer engagement and enrollment in new projects both directly and through appropriate stakeholdersOptimize the end-to-end processes to successfully scale new development projectsContribute to prioritization of projects, plan efficient workflow, and design studies to support key initiatives in discovery, product development and market development phasesProactively drive communication with cross-functional team members to progress efforts and effectively utilize available resourcesContribute to development of new processes and systems to organize, focus, prioritize, and drive ecosystem services research and development, as appropriate.Support sales enablement and initial launch of commercial programs after completion of development through pipelineThis role does not have direct supervisory authority but the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to influence without direct authority.Experience & Education:Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience7 or more years of experience with program development, stage-gate or other innovation pipeline frameworks2 or more years of Carbon or sustainability project development experienceDairy and/or livestock supply chain experienceSalary is negotiable based on experience: $102,480 - $153,720#LI-DF1About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned coope ative that is reimagining the business of food.
