Job Title: Receptionist

Location: High Point, NC

Job Summary:

Our client, a growing manufacturing company in the High Point, NC area is seeking a professional, highly organized, and personable Receptionist to join our team at our High Point, NC office. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive in assisting with administrative tasks, and possess a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.

  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.

  • Maintain security by following procedures, such as monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing conference rooms.

  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies inventory.

  • Coordinate and assist with company events and internal meetings.

  • Assist the Human Resources and Operations departments with various clerical tasks as needed.

  • Provide general information and assistance to callers and visitors regarding company services and departments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers) and strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Professional appearance and attitude.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or chemical industry is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM

  • Standard office environment located in High Point, NC.
