Conagra Supervisor Maintenance / Facilities in Archbold, Ohio
The 1st Shift Maintenance/Facilities supervisor reporting to the Maintenance Manager will eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel. You will assure production schedules are met and all issues are resolved and communicated. You will support and implement plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve plant's performance goals for overall maintenance performance. You will Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. You will review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
You will Manage Facilities & Infrastructure to include:
Direct team members in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics.
Ensure regulatory compliance such as environmental compliance (EPA, Wastewater)
Be the Incident Commander coordinating Emergency Response teams to deal with security breaches, fire, tornados, bomb threats, hazardous spills, ammonia discharges.
Monitor electric, natural gas, and wastewater usage to ensure data is used towards energy savings and cost reduction programs.
Lead the Process Safety Management program (PSM) and Risk Management Plans.
Accountable for steam, refrigeration and air compressors to meet production needs.
Work with contractors on plant facilities/utilities (HVAC, Fire System, Refrigeration Systems)
You will have:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Production Operations Management or equivalent field of study.
Three years' work experience in facilities maintenance management in a manufacturing environment including experience in Ammonia systems, Hazmat, TPM, SAP, and Programmable Controllers.
Union experience in a manufacturing environment.
Be available for shift work, weekends and holidays.
