This position starts at $16.00 to $18.00/hour dependent on qualifications.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Live Ops Accounting Clerk position will be a temporary position starting now through July/August with potential of becoming full time. The Live Ops Accounting Clerk processes various internal financial documents and data, analyzes data and prepares internal financial reports. At times, this position may preform general administrative duties in back up or absences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Job Responsibilities initially:

  • Balancing feed tickets with MTech/Beta Raven and SAP and produce various feed delivery reports

  • Enters requisitions and receives through SAP for department parts and ingredients

  • Assists dispatcher in maintaining and monitoring inventory of feed from growers

  • Orders and schedules deliveries of feed to growers as a backup to the dispatcher

  • Answers phones and performs other clerical duties as needed for various other departments

  • Maintains open communication with growers and drivers

  • Assists the Live Accounting manager during the budgeting process for Feed Mill costs.

  • Back up for Accounting Clerk - Broilers

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

  • Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies

  • Good Communication Skills

  • 1 – 3 Years of Previous Related Experience

  • Requires a High School Degree or equivalent

  • Associates Degree in Accounting preferred

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

  • 1-2 years’ experience preferred

  • Computer Skills: SAP, MTECH, and Beta Raven experience preferred

  • Advanced Analytical and Project Skills preferred
