What you’ll do:

  • Keeps accurate records of import-export customs documents

  • Establishes customs classification, requesting BTI/BTI certificates, requesting/issuing LTSD

  • Keeps HTS Classification and maintains accurate SAP database

  • Documents archiving relating to customs – eArchive is a plus

  • Determination of dispatch mode, type of packaging, dispatch scale within the scope of the given directives

  • Notification of forwarding agents about consignments. Disposition of freight space within the given framework

  • Issue/provision of all the documents required for dispatch, such as advice notes, bills of lading, shipping orders, packing piece labels, post papers, customs declarations, certificates of origin, movement certificates, invoicing, etc.

  • Processing of the usual customs formalities within the scope of the given organizational processes while taking the regulations that are specific to the company, country or customer

  • Observation of new / amended regulations and legal requirements, such as decrees relating to hazardous goods and import/export regulations; processing hazardous goods orders

  • Control of incoming air and sea freight documents; distribution of internal and external documents (invoices, package lists, order notes, customer correspondence, settled letters of credit)

  • Requirement and evaluation of offers for national and international transport

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or similar

  • 3+years proven experience with customs and associated legal documentation

Skills:

  • Very good command of English language

  • ERP knowledge, preferable SAP

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
