Lifeworks is seeking a full-time Service Specialist to support adults with disabilities through focused activities that challenge and enrich their long-range goals. The Service Specialist will work in Apple Valley, the surrounding community, and virtually. How you ll be spending your time: Developing, organizing, and leading group activities/classes in the center, community or virtually through Zoom. Teaching a variety of enrichment skills including wellness, healthy living and life skills to individuals in a classroom or one-on-one. Transporting individuals out into the community for volunteering and other outings using a company vehicle or personal vehicle. Supporting individuals in completing goals and documenting their progress.
