Overtime available This is a full-time position with a great local dealership. An Entry Level Automotive Technician in our dealership needs to be thorough, efficient, and friendly, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some Saturday and early evening work will be required. We are looking for someone who is neat in appearance, reliable and accurate, with the ability to work well with others. A few of the things we offer:                                                                                           * State of the art service facility * Ability to work on a two-man team * Company supplied tools * Advancement opportunities available * Paid Toyota training available Job responsibilities for an Entry Level Automotive Technician include but are not limited to: * Perform basic maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles * Conduct multipoint inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance services and repairs * Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the Service Advisor * Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work through the Express Maintenance shop * Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as required Job requirements for an Entry Level Automotive Technician include but are not limited to: * Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipmenT * Valid driver’s license, with a record insurable by our insurance standards * Bending, stooping, twist, turn, lift above shoulder level, repetitive hand/arm motion, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds * High school diploma or equivalent required * Some automotive technology courses preferred * Need to be able to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission * Need ability to recognize any other work the vehicle may need
