Providence Sterile Processing Technician: Full Time, Variable Shift in Apple Valley, California
Description
Works in collaboration with nursing and other health care professionals to effectively contribute to the overall function and organization of the department. Performs duties relative to cleaning, sterilizing, transportation, storage and care of surgical instrumentation and equipment.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Unit Specific training.
Coursework/Training: Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or
National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
Sterile Processing experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Certified Central Sterile or Operating Room Tech upon hire.
6 months in a Hospital operating room tech experience.
