Fluor Engineering NV, located in Antwerp, is focused on developing long-term relationships with customers in revamping, debottlenecking and expanding the production capacity of their existing facilities in all sectors of the Process Industry in Belgium: Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Life Sciences, Food, Pharmaceutical, Recycling,.. The Antwerp office provides the full project execution services: from conceptual engineering, basic engineering, and detailed engineering through commissioning and construction support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and hands-on mechanical engineer, who will be responsible for the specification of mechanical equipment in accordance with client requirements, authority regulations, etc.

The complete cycle from equipment specification, supplier selection, purchase of equipment, supplier-drawing review, equipment acceptance and delivery to site-to-site (erection) support and turn-over will be part of this function.

In addition, the mechanical engineer will be as originating engineer responsible for quality, cost and schedule activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and organizing the mechanical activities inside our multi-disciplinary projects

• Writing and reviewing mechanical specifications

• Procurement of mechanical equipment

• Management of suppliers (in term of quality, cost and schedule)

• Maintaining schedules and equipment estimates

• Cooperate with client, third parties and project disciplines/field
