PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Assist the operations team by optimizing and maintaining Paint Production Equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Preventive maintenance requirements on manufacturing equipment. Work with all manufacturing groups ensuring parts and tooling meet process expectations. Visually inspect work to ensure desired product quality. Follow safety standards set forth by the company Safety and LOTO programs. Help identify and correct safety hazards and unsafe workplace behaviors. Notifies department team leader when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials etc. Performs related duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years mechanical maintenance experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. General experience in using computers and computer applications. High school diploma or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Good mechanical skills. Experience reading and understanding prints. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Safety conscious. Self-starter. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
