Do you have a passion for innovation and a proven track record in leading engineering teams? If so, we have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for you as an Engineering Manager for Industrial Cooling Products. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee all aspects of product development for industrial cooling equipment, from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and market leadership through innovative solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead multi-functional teams across all stages of product development: Discover, Develop, Deploy, and Launch. This includes managing design, engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

  • Ensure timely product launches by setting clear timelines and managing resources effectively.

  • Make key technical decisions for cooling products and accessories, considering factors like performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.

  • Apply specific engineering knowledge like heat transfer analysis, thermodynamics, and sheet metal design to solve technical challenges.

  • Lead and direct engineers and designers to bring product visions to life.

  • Translate customer needs into detailed product specifications.

  • Establish test specifications and protocols for product validation.

  • Coordinate and maintain development schedules to ensure projects stay on track.

  • Partner with Product Management to conduct industry research and identify growth opportunities and disruptions in the cooling market.

  • Develop innovative products and technologies that address these identified market trends.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build strong customer relationships and understand their needs.

  • Develop industry partnerships to expand product reach and access new technologies.

  • Oversee external activities like regulatory compliance testing or third-party evaluations.

  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps by providing technical insights and market understanding.

YOU HAVE:

  • BS in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering required. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Ideally 10+ years of engineering experience

  • Ideally 2+ years of people management experience

  • Knowledge in refrigeration, cooling/heating system design, and heat transfer is a must

  • Nice to have knowledge in electrical wiring and function, electronics

  • Proficiency in building and maintaining comprehensive project documentation

  • Ability to build effective work relationships internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
