Anoka-Hennepin Schools Babysitting Instructors - Community School Program Instructors in Anoka, Minnesota

Babysitting Instructors - Community School Program Instructors Community Ed Youth Instructors and Asst. Instructors are responsible for delivery of curriculum of Community School Programs for Preschool-Grade 8. Dates & Hours: October 2023 thru May 2024. Classes are 8 hours of instruction plus 1 hour of prep time. Classes could be after school, evenings or on weekends. Each school can set up class dates and times that work for the instriuctor and the school. Location: Anoka Middle, Coon Rapids Middle, Jackson Middle, Northdale Middle, Oak View Middle, Roosevelt Middle Duties include: Babysitting Instructors - responsible for class planning and instructing students. Provide student safety and program presentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Red Cross Certification required. (If you are not certified, Community Education will train you through the Red Cross to become an instructor.) Relevant work experience and previous experience. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working at the building/onsite. Preferred Qualifications: Previous knowledge of babysitting preferred. Ability to supervise 10 to 20 students preferred. Relevant work experience and previous experience with community school activities preferred. Advanced training or college degree preferred for instructor positions preferred.
