The Homestead at Anoka, Rehab and Living Center is seeking an Assistant Administrator to support our Executive Campus Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a 60 bed Long Term Care Center, which is part of the total 120 beds on campus, as well as Assisted Living, Memory care, and Independent Living. Essentials: * Oversees the maintenance, housekeeping/laundry, therapies, medical records, staffing, and nursing departments and ensures each department is meeting the highest standard attainable in accordance with State and Federal regulations. * In collaboration with Dietary, Human Resources, Business Office, Admissions, Social Services and Therapeutic Recreation departments, is responsible for assisting with issues while maintaining a positive working environment. * Assisting the Executive Director/Administrator in implementing the business plan; ultimately to build community understanding and support of the program and services and those of the national organization. * Follow-through with organizational performance standards, as developed by the Executive Director/Administrator, to ensure on-going stability of the program. * Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the responsible departments run efficiently and works in collaboration with all other departments to ensure the same. * Assisting the Executive Director/Administrator in the cost effective management of the program's resources, and assisting in implementing the organizational financial policies. * Develop specific action plans for empowering employees by improving service that includes goal-setting and skill building; identifying performance issues and coaching responsible staff to ensure program goals are met. * In collaboration with the Executive Director/Administrator, setting a tone that best achieves the mission and goals of the program that ensure all levels of staff are successful. * Must successfully complete and comply with our Drivers Safety Program. * Other projects as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in related field; licensed where applicable by the State; State requirements may dictate supervision and degree type. * Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of MN. * Negotiation skills and ability to carry on several levels of reasoning at once during problem-solving sessions. * High degree of professionalism; ability to deal with extremely confidential information. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and the Internet. * Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation. * A valid Driver's License and proof of insurance is required. Motor Vehicle record check will be conducted annually.
