What Field Service contributes to Cardinal Health

Field Service is responsible managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for identifying, quantifying, qualifying, tracking, and evaluating customer pain points; and, for facilitating, developing, designing and implementing processes that improve overall customer experience. Act as customer advocate and liaison back into Cardinal Health organization.

This position will be the primary advocate and liaison between the Government Facility (DHA) and Cardinal Health. The selected individual will work closely with field sales, customer service, implementation, contracts, operations, inventory, accounts payable and project identification between the customer and Cardinal Health.

There is a hybrid work schedule in place which consists of 50/50 onsite to remote (3 days onsite one week, 2 days onsite the following week) or as determined by DHA customer.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in either inventory management, project management, supply technician, or data and administration in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Demonstrates general knowledge of customer relationship management, sales, and operations functions.

  • Works independently, is self-motivated and demonstrates tenacity to ensure resolution of issues.

  • Manages basic and routine customer transactions on a daily basis.

  • Supports customer service function for a small number of accounts.

  • Assists with process improvement projects as appropriate.

  • Veterans with medical logistics background are preferred

  • A Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position. Covid-19 vaccination includes: 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Accountabilities

  • Identifying, quantifying, and qualifying, prime vendor product conversion opportunities.

  • Facilitating resolution to customer pain points.

  • Demonstrates general knowledge of customer relationship management, sales, and operations functions to maximize customer loyalty.

  • Contributes to process improvement projects, SOP/BDP identification and replication throughout customer base, as required.

  • Tracks and reports cost savings opportunities.

  • Schedules and participates in regular business reviews.

  • Liaison between Cardinal Health team and key customer contacts.

  • Coordinates data collection and reporting to support initiatives and basic business needs.

Anticipated salary range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00
