We are seeking a Senior System Engineer with a desire and ability to travel and experience with the following primary toolsets, Kubernetes, Ansible MC, Cloud Technologies, Rancher, and Containers as a Service (Caas).

Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Position Required Skills:

Experience with:

  • Performing systems engineering activities and assisting in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Performing systems engineering activities and assisting in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
  • Assisting in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas. Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Developing and delivering a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
  • Performing systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Independently analyzing and recommending alternatives for elements of project's technical design.
  • Performing systems engineering activities and developing and delivering work products in each of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.
  • Supervising or coordinating the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
  • Analyzing and proposing appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.
  • Assisting in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.
  • Assisting in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue.
  • Briefing stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.
  • Independently making decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a project.
  • Approving delivery of work products of multiple Processes Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Leading contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.
  • Independently resolving important engineering issues requiring the use of advanced technology.
  • Planning and developing engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise.
  • Approving delivery of work products of all Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Designing systems/subsystems from requirements.
  • Independently load and configure software
  • Performing testing (unit level and end to end, DTandE 1 and 2, OATandE)
  • Developing technical manuals, worked with tech writers to produce technical manuals.
  • Developing subsystem and system level training.

Position Desired Skills:

Experience with:

  • Rack levation and cabling design
  • Large scale integration (rack and stack) experience

Qualifications: Twenty (20) years of experience as a System Engineer and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or twenty-four (24) years of experience in lieu degree.
