ARSIEM is looking for a Junior Software Reverse Engineer . The position will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer large-scale, highly complex software applications

  • Perform reverse engineering research on highly complex software applications

  • Research static and dynamic analysis, including reverse engineering and kernel debugging

  • Research results will be encapsulated in written reports and or software tools

  • Work alongside some of the world's best reverse engineers, learning unique skills and exploring challenging problems daily

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of development experience with Assembly, C/C++, or Python

  • Knowledge of common binary executable formats (PE, ELF, etc.)

  • Experience with CNO development, malware analysis, forensic analysis, and Windows/*nix internals

  • Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar binary analysis tool

  • Experience with analyzing user-mode binaries and kernel-mode drivers

  • Experience with Wireshark or similar network protocols

    • Labor Category Requirements: CNO Analyst/Programmer I
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in a commercial or academic field of computer science, information systems, or network engineering

  • Minimum one (I) year of experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python

  • Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments

  • Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e., Subversion, CVS, etc.)

  • Able to debug software and troubleshoot issues

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The bonus for this position is $10,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
