Raytheon Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services (CIS) organization is focused on providing a full spectrum of offensive and defensive cybersecurity capabilities, services and solutions to a variety of government and commercial customers. Key areas of focus include reverse engineering, persistence/anti-persistence technologies, forensics/anti-forensic analysis, vulnerability assessment, wireless and network communications, and low-level development. The CIS Digital Technology (DT) team’s mission is to serve the Information Technology (IT) needs of CIS programs, it’s customers and workforce as a whole by delivering best-in-class technical support and capabilities.

Position Responsibilities

Raytheon CIS is seeking an early to mid-career Information Technology professional to support our cyber engineering workforce in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment. The selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide daily onsite IT support for engineering, program management and leadership teams.

  • Perform end-user desktop computing support, hardware/software delivery and inventory management tasks.

  • Provide local support for site IT network infrastructure hardware and A/V conferencing systems.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger geographically distributed team with limited supervision.

  • Demonstrate good judgement and be able to effectively escalate IT issues as appropriate.

  • Demonstrate strong customer service and focus on timely professional delivery of IT service.

  • Abide by established organizational practices in the execution of tasks and projects.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of applicable experience using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve user computing issues.

  • Proficiency using and supporting Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Office Products, SharePoint and ability to perform basic network troubleshooting.

  • Proven communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with internal customers at all levels of management.

  • Natural problem-solving capability, willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to evolving mission requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a multi-tiered IT organization, work order prioritization and escalation.

  • Experience using work order management systems (ex. Atlassian ServiceDesk / ServiceNow)

  • Experience using and supporting Linux based Operating Systems

  • Familiarity with network hardware, concepts and basic troubleshooting.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.

Security Clearance

Selected candidate maybe required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance however security clearance is NOT required to begin work.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
