Senior Software Integration Engineer

The typical responsibilities are:

  • Analyzes, diagnoses and resolves issues with applications software and systems.

  • Collaborates with hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for product and commercial software.

  • Determines computer user needs, analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Required experience working with Linux and Linux scripting.

  • IAT Level II Certification Required upon time of hire

Education/ Years of experience:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have coupled with 10 years ofdemonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

  • Non-degree: The individual shall have 5 years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least 10 years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, and upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

  • An industry recognized professional certification, may substitute as 1 year of experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $136620 - $232210

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
