Guaranteed Hours- 40 -45 hours depending on availability. Days/Afternoons (7am -6pm availability) every other weekend 9am -12pm if needed. Must be able to travel 30 miles radius. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living

  • Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene

  • Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.

  • Meal planning, cooking and baking

  • Conversation and companionship

  • Interactive Caregiving

  • Errands and transportation

  • Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment

  • Assistance with medication

  • Dementia or Alzheimer’s care

  • End of life care

  • Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed

  • Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares

Requirements:

  • 1 year of CNA facility experience, preferred

  • Must be available every other weekend and holiday.

  • Willing to drive 35 mile radius of the office.

  • May have multiple shifts a day.

  • Schedule varies and changes with clients needs.

  • 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving

  • Exceptional attendance record

  • Successful in all home: hospice, dementia, cats/dogs, & smoking

  • DHS and driving record background clearance

  • Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
