This 1.0 FTE Program Manager, Specialty Pharmacy position oversees the specialty and home delivery pharmacy program.

Responsibilities*

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and ongoing management of the specialty and home delivery pharmacy program.

  • Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing necessary workflows to meet growing and dynamic service needs within specialty and home delivery pharmacy.

  • Identify, assess, and implement novel software and hardware solutions in coordination with area and Department leaders to drive efficiency, productivity, and service expansion.

  • Focus on continuous improvement to identify improvement needs to drive programmatic efficiency and productivity to meet patient care and customer needs.

  • Maintain physical systems and software to ensure peak efficiency and minimizing nonproductive downtime in partnership with health-system resources.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strong relationships

  • Manage time in an effective yet flexible manner to meetarea and Departmentneeds.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned based on area and Department needs.

Required Qualifications*

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.

  • Strong time management and written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong, independent analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with large, diverse teams

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Experience with task scheduling, data reporting, and resource assignment

  • Demonstrated experience with project management including tools to create, manage, and track progress

Desired Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Project Management Training or Certification

  • Process Improvement Training
