*Weingartz is looking to add a Part-Time Service Coordinator at our Ann Arbor location. *

 

Summary:

The service coordinator will assist service technicians by staging work areas, following up on service orders, helping to load and unload equipment from customer's vehicles and other various porter duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stage equipment for service techs throughout the day.
  • Prepare the triage process for both morning and afternoon
  • Check equipment in and tag with red ribbon.
  • Unload and load equipment that customers are dropping off for repairs or picking up.
  • Keep staging areas for equipment organized
  • Thoroughly clean equipment prior to it entering service department (This can happen at the red or blue stage)
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, improve and promote quality, and monitor own work to ensure quality
  • Observe all safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 1+ year in a mechanic type position
  • Proficient with standard desktop software
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks
  • Careful attention to detail; careful attention to numbers
  • Basic math skills are required.

     

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance; stoop, crouch or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment:

The work environment is a service facility where temperatures may reflect outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

 

Work Schedule:

The position is part-time requiring varying shifts Monday through Saturday to cover business operations. Occasional extended days and or weekend hours may be required. May be required to work 45+ hours a week during the Spring and Summer peak season. This position is non-exempt.

 

Position: Part-Time

 

Pay Range: $15 - $16 an hour
