Robert Half Contracts Manager in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Description Robert Half has a vacant role for a Contracts Manager with a client in the Service field. This will be a challenging and advantageous role under the general counsel. The Contracts Manager will sustain vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Candidates should be determined to surpass expectations in a rapid-energy environment. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. What you get to do every single day

  • Reply to internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Manage and outsource contracts

  • Support contract administration functions with the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

  • Assemble contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

  • Fact check and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

  • Shephard the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Track and maintain contracts database

  • Red-line documents as required for compliance and review external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance

  • Review and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

  • Enhance and manage contract repositories Requirements - Less than one year of experience

  • Corporate ParaLegal experience highly desired

  • Knowledge of contracts

  • ParaLegals experience preferred

  • Commercial Contracts experience desired

  • Deep understanding of Legal Contracts

  • Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines

  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent

  • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Utilize skills in reviewing and drafting non-disclosure agreements, including software evaluation and licensing agreements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Accomplished in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • Able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment

    • Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Excellent organizational skills required in order to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines
