On With Life's (Brain Injury/Stroke/Neuro) Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Program is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our person-centered, challenging, rewarding, fast-paced, collaborative, and transdisciplinary team!

This PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position assists with filling in periodic scheduling gaps due to high patient volumes or employee leaves. Available hours are typically between 8a-6p, with occasional slight variations to meet unique scheduling needs. On rare occasions you may have the opportunity to travel to other On With Life clinic locations.

This position is eligible for an annual cost-of-living adjustment; the hired employee may also participate in our 401k plan and has access to our employee assistance program.

We are an evolving Outpatient Neuro program that continues to grow in size and in the multitude of diagnoses we serve, including CVA, Parkinson's, Post-Concussive Syndrome, Post Covid, Brain Tumor, GBM, Movement Disorders, and Complex Neuro.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • An Iowa Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license

  • Two-to-three years of clinical experience in rehabilitation of persons with brain injury or other neurological disorders

  • Willingness to obtain further certification as needed in the clinic (i.e. LSVT BIG)

  • Ability to maintain CPR certification

  • The federal government requires that our employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (typically 2 doses), or alternatively request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption. We may not be able to proceed with employment if you cannot fulfill one of those options.
