COMMUNITY STATE BANK Loan Associate Real Estate Closer in Ankeny, Iowa

Community State Bank is looking for a Loan Associate Real Estate Closer to join our team! The Loan Associate (Real Estate Closer) primary responsibility is preparing real estate closing documents accurately in accordance with FNMA guidelines and QCRH Credit Policy and Real Estate Lending Procedures. Real estate transactions can include but are not limited to in-house and secondary/correspondent mortgage loans, construction, and lot loans. A successful incumbent should have the ability to prioritize loan closings and file flow to successfully manage pipeline volume. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and mathematical accuracy are requirements of this position. The incumbent will work closely with the residential origination team, settlement agent, processors, and loan support associates to insure the seamless funding of residential mortgage transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related area preferred.

Experience:Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a mortgage closing/funding capacity or combination of equivalent education and experience. Experience closing both in-house and correspondent/secondary mortgage loan applications is highly desired. Familiarity with Encompass LOS is strongly preferred.
