Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Engineer, you will be a member of the Central Maintenance team. You will be responsible for executing maintenance tasks for all production equipment and construction/assembly of production machines or mechanisms. You will, also, be involved in machinery improvements implementation, to maximize equipment efficiency and product quality.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks

• Execute product changeovers to provide the necessary flexibility in production schedule

• Perform machine adjustments and settings to maintain operational efficiency

• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure production volumes at the desired quality

• Consistently conduct troubleshooting and repair of down equipment to root cause of failure in a timely and efficient manner

• Cooperates with other departments to secure the continuous and effective operation of the production equipment

• Analyse problem process constraints and propose methods and solutions for the minimisation or elimination of them

• Initiate continuous improvement activities and be member of cross functional teams to improve productivity and yield enhancement

• Arranging and controlling special maintenance fixtures, fittings, or components

• Plans the required resources (parts or/and other maintenance staff) to restore the breakdowns of the production machines at the shortest possible time

Qualifications

• Technical school or Technical Institute Degree in Mechanical discipline

• Certified with minimum Maintenance Technician license (Mechanical)

• 2 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in industrial field

• Adequate knowledge of English language (both written and verbal)

• PC literacy (i.e., MS Office, Windchill)

• Able to work in shifts

Preferred qualifications

• Basic automation systems knowledge (pneumatic, hydraulics, etc.)

• Prior experience in machine assembly, installation, and commissioning

• Prior experience in machine tools such as lathe machine, milling machine or surface gridding machine

• Knowledge on Maintenance monitoring software such as COSWIN
