The Manufacturing Finance Organization has an immediate need for a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3). In this role you’ll be responsible for executing all weekly/monthly/Quarterly KPI deliverables for our East Coast factories. Additionally, this team member will help construct and execute change management protocols generating value to the executing originations via critical analysis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills & ability to transfer knowledge, resolve conflicts and relay critical information across all multi-functional stakeholder environments. The ideal candidate will use their talents to drive collaboration with the broader value stream finance and business operations finance team. This position is a hybrid role based out of Andover, MA, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Performing all weekly/monthly/Quarterly KPI deliverables for our East Coast factories.

  • Transfer knowledge, resolve conflicts and relay critical information across all multi-functional stakeholder environments

  • Effective prioritizing of tasks in a dynamic geographically dispersed, and deadline driven environment.

  • Strengthen processes with multiple functional stakeholders from beginning to end.

  • Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field and 5 years of relevant financial experience OR an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP / PRISM/Business Warehouse.

  • Experience with Program Cost Controls & Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing/production based environment.

  • Direct/indirect leadership experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines.

  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, cross functional teammates & all levels of leadership.

Additional Information:

  • This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. The selected candidate can expect 2-3 days onsite.

  • Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
