Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clinical, medical, and case management staff as necessary
  2. Responsible for Release of Information paper flow and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) data entry
  3. Responsible for obtaining information for first time clients (intakes), and updating all current client information
  4. Responsible for 30-Day Discharge Letters, and assisting with client transfers
  5. Responsible for printing daily schedules and distributing to appropriate staff
  6. Responsible for checking clients in and out
  7. Responsible for scheduling appointments, collecting fees at time of check in, answering multiple phone lines, taking messages, transferring calls, sending Nurse Notes, and making daily reminder calls
  8. Responsible for completing the weekly deposit
  9. Filing and maintaining the supply of all materials for daily functioning, and the ordering of all office supplies and maintenance of office equipment
  10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Utilize technology proficiently: including Microsoft Word & Excel software, an EMR system, internet browser, e-mail, multi-line phones, voicemail, document scanner, copy, & fax machines.
  • Exhibit proficiency in math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages).

  • Can handle multiple tasks with constant interruption, while remaining patient
  • Remain calm and professional when addressing clients, and those in crisis
  • Team player with a willing-to-learn attitude
  • Remain aware of activities of office, while at the same time retaining confidentiality policy
  • Pass a criminal background and drivers license check to the satisfaction of SCMH
