Eaton Corporation Field Service Project Manager - CI in Anderson, Indiana

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Field Service Project Manager - CI.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is seeking a Field Services Project Manager to direct the execution of startup and commissioning projects for key commercial, industrial, and government clients. These projects will be completed in conjunction with our District Operations Centers (DOC’s), with the Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, control, and job closure activities. This position requires up to 75% travel.

In this position you will;

  • Receive job handoffs and complete initial technical, scope of work, and scheduling requirement reviews.

  • Utilize necessary project management tools, software, and other resources to maintain adherence to key milestones and deliverables on site.

  • Own coordination of project meetings (internal and external) and formal communication plans to key project stakeholders.

  • Determine mechanisms required for successful job closeout (punch lists / issue resolution, internal warranty, transition to owner or other entity).

  • Serve as primary customer and site contact throughout duration of EESS activities on site.

  • Collaborate with DOC team to communicate any safety program initiatives, concerns, or oversights to customer, contractor, and subcontractor stakeholders.

  • Provide financial oversight through cost control, warranty, change order management, and risk mitigation.

  • Work closely with commercial operations teams, including North American Sales (NAS) Project Management Organization, sales engineers, and EESS Technical Application Support (TAS) organization to reconcile client expectations with order commitments, change orders, and timelines.

  • Implement and cascade requirements associated with any program level initiatives or changes from technical program managers within the Strategic Operations organization.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess High School Diploma/G.E.D. or higher

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and/or managing electrical, construction, or industrial projects; or 3 years experience in services, sales, or manufacturing of electrical distribution products

  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license

  • No relocation is being offered for this position, candidate must reside in Central united States to be considered. Active Duty military candidates are exempt from this requirement.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • PMP Certification

  • 5-7 electrical field services experience

  • 3+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects

  • Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages

  • OSHA 10 & 30 hour general industry or construction certification.
