Jossy's Auto Automotive Technician in Anderson, Indiana

Jossy's is looking for a skilled auto mechanic to join our team-oriented environment. 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday. Automotive experience 1 year.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and repairing them back t other manufacture's specifications. You should be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronica systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You must also have strong communications skills to communicate vehicle issues to our service advisors.

Responsibilities. Inspect vehicles engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately and correctly the first time.

Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc).

Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and fix issue. Documenting all findings and repairs in the repair order, maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Maintain a safe and clean work environment/workspace, Must have own tools and toolbox

Proven experience as auto mechanic , Ability to use and read a scan tool Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.

High School Diploma is preferred Valid driver's license is a MUST as our technicians are required to test drive every vehicle to verify All repairs Vallid Certification (E.G. ASE) is a definite plus. If not ASE certified, a willingness to achieve certification is a MUST
