Position Description

RSA is seeking a

Licensed Electrical Engineer

in commercial and industrial electrical design. The successful applicant will be able to work independently performing detailed phases of design. Applicant must be fully competent in all conventional aspects of design engineering and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

*Position Requirements *

  • State of Alaska Professional Engineer License, Electrical discipline
  • Willingness and ability to travel for projects in remote Alaskan locations
  • Ability to work independently to develop specifications, drawings, and construction phase instructions
  • Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analysis meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively follow project schedules and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff members
  • Desire to advance technically and as a firm leader
