When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve our tomorrow. We’re seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee projects for federal clients. You’ll apply your technical experience in site characterization and remediation to develop strategies and work plans while championing safety, quality, communication, and the well-being of your team.

As a project manager, we’ll rely on you to plan, staff, schedule, budget, coordinate with subcontractors and internal support staff and subject matter experts; and interact with our clients and regulatory agencies. In this role, you’ll also use your technical skills and experience to analyze data and lead preparation of technical reports.

Based in Alaska, you’ll have the opportunity to work on investigation and remediation projects across the state. Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree

  • Professional environmental characterization/remediation project experience, including environmental sampling, subcontractor oversight, and task management and/or project management

  • Experience working directly with the US Army Corps of Engineers or AFCEC and conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial designs/actions, and installing and optimizing remediation systems

  • Ability to plan, perform and oversee field work.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other professional registration (ie PE, PG, etc.) or ability to obtain and maintain

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with contractors, team members, regulators and clients

  • Experience with the environmental consulting industry locally in Alaska
