Our packaging department is responsible for the day-to-day work of putting our internally produced (and outside purchased products, as applicable) into final packaging. SeaBear Company is currently searching for motivated individuals who possess a positive attitude and take initiative to successfully perform tasks required. Major Duties, Responsibilities and Priorities

  • Assembling boxes and other packaging formats
  • Putting produced/inspected product into final packaging formats for both perishable and non-perishable product
  • Assembling gift baskets and other combination gift packaging
  • Inspection of product seals and for quality for both perishable and non-perishable product
  • Completing paperwork for product tracking

Requirements

  • Continuous standing up 2 hour periods at a time
  • Frequent walking
  • Continuous movement / lifting with both arms up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional movement / lifting with both arms up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Full range of motion for frequent pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements
  • Stability to stand and walk on wet production floors
  • Fine finger & manual dexterity using both hands in order to cut, inspect, scoop, and manually move or place product
  • Exertion of force on and against product for process flow 

Availability:  *Full-time Monday-Thursday 6:00AM to 4:30PM. *We also have summer positions available: * High School age candidates and older would have a schedule of Monday - Thursday 6am - 2:30 pm (32 hours/week) beginning in June. *Compensation: $16.75/hour plus immediate product discounts for Seasonal                           $18.35 /hour to start plus immediate product discounts for Full-time permanent *Benefits for Permanent hires: *medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401K. and more
