Job Requisition: REQ2879 Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: Rotating Hours Per Week: As Scheduled

Hiring Range: $16.36 - $21.27

Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and visitors, answers general inquiries, and schedules patients for appointments.

  • Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Performs general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution.

  • Creates various reports and documents.

  • Communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.

  • Performs unit safety checks. Assists with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.

  • May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.

  • May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.

  • Preferred Credential(s): • BLS Provider.

  • Education: • High school diploma or GED required

Complexity of Work:

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
