St. Mary's Healthcare Advance Practice Provider- ENT in Amsterdam, New York

We are seeking a board certified/board eligible NP to join our ENT care team. This is a hospital employed, outpatient setting

Hiring range: $97,988 - $120,926

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care of the ears, upper pharynx, and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck to patients.

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.

  • Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.

  • Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.

  • Educate patients on disease prevention and Otolaryngology health.

  • Demonstrate effective and detailed documentation skills.

  • Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout patients’ care.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.

  • Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.

  • Participation in on-call rotation

This position offers a competitive compensation package which includes a base salary, semi annual bonuses, sign on bonus, educational/CME stipends, license and DEA reimbursement, and comprehensive fringe benefits package.

Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Required Credential(s):

  • Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.OR Certified and Registered Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.

  • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date.
