What are you going to do?

You play an important role as the Host Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for all questions facilities related. Resolving incoming tickets comes just as natural as giving (new) employees, guests and Vendors a warm welcome.

You ensure a pleasant and safe working environment and, in the role of emergency response officer, you are part of the HERO team at the Uber office on the Zuidas.

You ensure that the shared spaces are clean, coffee machines are working and everything is ready every day. You are the eyes, hands and heart of the workplace.

You become part of the team that takes the office experience to another level, by providing world-class facilities service every day.

Your main tasks are:

  • Walking rounds across the floors so that we can continue to offer a pleasant, functioning and safe workplace

  • Assisting with event set up and break down

  • Answering, solving and closing incoming facilities requests

  • Guiding visitors and suppliers

  • Identifying and immediately solving unsafe situations

  • You are an emergency response officer on the assigned floor, where you have a coordinating role in the event of emergencies

Who are you?

  • You enjoy working with people and making them happy;

  • You like to tackle things and are not afraid of getting your hands dirty;

  • Willing and able to become VCA Certified (Dutch or English)

  • You are proactive and have a hospitable attitude;

What do you need to get started as a Host Coordinator?

  • You are fluent in English and have good communication skills in Dutch;

  • You have a keen eye for detail;

  • Be willing to learn and apply this;

  • Experience in Hospitality is an advantage.

This is what we offer you!

  • Starting salary of €2.500-€3.000 a month (depending on age, knowledge and experience).

  • Laptop and phone.

  • Fixed pension plan and optional collective health and home insurance.

  • 8.33% Holiday pay, 25 fixed leave days, up to 10 leave days can be purchased and 2 bonus leave days when not sick for 1 year.

  • 12 ADV days per year

  • Development opportunities through the GWS Academy or external trainers.
