For our Dyson account in Central Amsterdam we are searching for a Facility Coordinator . It is a position in which you will be responsible for the onsite Facility Services and manage the CBRE suppliers to meet the clients high expectation on cleaning, food catering services, reception and hospitality.

Service is paramount and you work in a solution-oriented way. You get energy from it to unburden the client in meeting and exceeding the high service standards. In this position, you manage the teams independently and report to the Contract Manager.

You are responsible for ensuring that the services run optimally. It is important that you work flexibly, so that you can meet the expectations of our client. You switch quickly when work needs to be scheduled.

You will liaise with the client and coordinate and manage the contractually agreed services with our suppliers at the Dyson office. You are responsible for the planning and execution of all facility work and monitor the quality of the services provided on the basis of agreed service level agreements. You are result-oriented and have a high value for acting and thinking in a hospitable way.

During the execution of inspection rounds in and around the building, you ensure general order and cleanliness and you ensure a safe working environment and good execution in accordance with EHS and quality standards. You stand for the quality of the work on location. You are the driving force behind complying with all guidelines regarding safe working.

You act as a contact person to the landlord. You connect, have good communication skills and can translate wishes and requirements into operational working methods.

In the administrative field, it is your job to create orders for CBRE suppliers, to check and approve invoices in a timely manner and to provide written reports to the customer. Based on this and of your keen eye you will identify new opportunities in service enhancement to the client and make proposals to improve the methods and procedures used, while monitoring the location budget.

Candidate profile & requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree (Facility Management);

  • Fluent in English language, both verbally and in writing. Dutch language knowledge is beneficial;

  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in facilities.

  • Initiative and pro activity – Ability to pre-empt problems and proactively take measures to mitigate and solve.

  • Drive for results - Focuses on expedient delivery, to the right level of resolution and quality.

  • Attitude - Takes job responsibilities seriously and conducts themselves in a positive and professional manner.

  • Communication - Ability to effectively communicate and converse with client on site, suppliers, CBRE colleagues

  • Planning and Organizing - Able to develop a clear, efficient, and logical approach to work.

  • Flexibility - Willing to adapt thinking, behavior, and activities to suit the requirements of different situations. Assists client with their requests and is willing to work collaboratively to deliver results.
