Veralto Solar Product Management Director in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Exceptional career opportunity for a Solar Product Management Director to join a fast-growing international provider of utility-scale Solar solutions.

This high-profile senior global role will suit a B2B solar industry-focused product management leader with the runway to develop into general management and broader commercial leadership.

The Opportunity

OTT HydroMet is an established provider of Solar, Hydrology & Meteorology technology solutions, and is part of Veralto ($5bn revenues / 16k associates), a newly launched family of international companies with Fortune 500 pedigree.

The Solar Product Management Director is a broad product management and marketing role, with a key focus on utilizing solar market insights to devise and implement profitable growth strategies.

Working in a hybrid manner if located close to our Netherlands or Colorado offices, or more remotely in EMEA or US (if east of Colorado), the jobholder reports to the VP – Marketing as part of the global marketing leadership team and is responsible for three Marketing Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Solar Strategy to drive share gain, revenue growth, and margin improvements

  • Drive proactive Portfolio Management to ensure short and long-term success and achieve a market leadership position; including product and technology roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, pricing, brand, and growth strategies

  • Lead new breakthrough product innovation from initial business case development through to market launch and post-launch requirements

  • Devise and execute Commercial Plans to achieve Solar segment objectives, including targets for orders, revenue, share gain, margin, pricing, vitality, and quality. Own cross-functional problem-solving actions when results are not meeting target

  • Identify and drive inorganic growth opportunities for the Solar market segment

  • Build a high performing Team by attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent and foster a continuous improvement mindset

The ideal candidate

  • B2B utility-scale solar domain Product Management expertise, including product portfolio ownership and decision-making on product development, pricing, margins etc. We may also consider a candidate with top tier management consultancy experience combined with extensive product management

  • Strong commercial management – devising the strategic plan and identifying growth opportunities such as new customers, regions, and products

  • Inspirational leader who develops talent and has a runway to progress into general management and broader commercial leadership roles

  • Exceptional communication (fluent English) and adept at collaborating cross functionally and with diverse teams and cultures in global organisations. Willing to travel up to 25% of the time and flexible to engage across multiple time zones

  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA is a plus

The salary range for this role is $120k - $200k . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
