The Senior Specialist Retail Transformation (In-Store Sales) is tasked with identifying market and store needs, formulating problem statements, and collaborating with the Product team to assess, define, and develop future Omnichannel and Retail systems, services, and solutions. With a focus on POS systems, the Senior Specialist plays a pivotal role in market analyses, vendor selection and implementation across Europe. Additionally, they are responsible for preparing and executing stakeholder trainings to ensure alignment and understanding across all levels.

A day in the life of a Senior Specialist Retail Transformation (In-Store Sales) (m/f/x):

  • You will assess the current status of our POS systems and checkout solutions.

  • You will prioritize market needs and assess feasibility, cost/benefit ratio, and profitability drivers.

  • You will closely align with central Product Teams to address identified needs, related business cases, and budget implications.

  • You will support the Product Owner in selecting our future POS vendor by collecting system requirements, drafting RFPs, and finalizing proposals.

  • You will implement a new POS systems and features in markets, considering local legal requirements and needs. This includes project management in collaboration with markets.

  • You will create synergy effects across regions by sharing best practices and promoting standardization.

  • You will establish mutual KPIs in markets and actively monitor and track progress.

  • You will collaborate with Store Operations & IT teams to address and resolve hardware and system issues hindering stores from fully leveraging our POS system & features.

  • You will develop, maintain, and share expert knowledge on systems and processes within your area of responsibility as a Subject Matter Expert.

What do we need from you? You have:

  • A Minimum 4-7 years of relevant work experience.

  • Previous experience with store systems, digitalization in retail, or retail technologies.

  • Very good knowledge of store processes and procedures.

  • Good understanding of POS systems and checkout features in retail.

  • Solid experience in project management.

  • Knowledge of local/regional store processes, laws & regulations, and cultural needs.

  • Fluency in English language, willingness to travel
