The AWS Professional Services team is seeking an Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that manages the commercial relationship with 1 to 3 strategic customers in the Benelux. Together with customer teams and AWS partners, the ESM works closely with the AWS account team and owns the end-to-end customer journey for AWS Professional Services in the sales cycle. The ESM is a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and enables acceleration of business outcomes on AWS Cloud.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

The ESM role entails a combination of the following:

• Developing strong relationships with senior executives and enterprise teams to understand customer needs, desired outcomes and key results

• Guiding customer along the journey of cloud adoption and digital transformation, including modernization & migration of existing IT assets

• Providing customer with a great experience when engaging with AWS ProServe, throughout the sales cycle to the delivery of high-quality engagements

• Acting as an evangelist for the full portfolio of AWS platform capabilities and services to accelerate realization of customer outcomes through AWS cloud

• Preparing and presenting commercial and/or strategic proposals to customer C-Suite and executives

• Working with relevant product specialist and delivery experts across AWS to enable customers on AWS Cloud

• Managing commercial agreements and creating Statements of Work (SOWs) with accountability of revenue targets for AWS customers

A day in the life

AWS Professional Services engages in a broad variety of projects and strategic programs with customers desiring to accelerate digital transformation in the cloud.

We sell business outcomes, like supply chain, or factory optimization to manufacturing and retail customers, digital transformation to FSI customers or (Gen)AI/ML data driven optimization to hospitality customers. We help our customers to implement a cloud modernization and migration strategy, including cost optimization of existing workloads and infrastructure to free up resources and capital to invest in differentiating innovation.

We collaborate and work with AWS Partners on scaling our collective cloud expertise and best practices for the benefit of our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field

  • Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system

  • Experience in a senior sales role selling IT enabled business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Dutch
